Who is blindbutterfly?

Hi friends!  My name is Kayla, and I am a Transgender female with so much to share.

I also happen to be vision-impaired, hence the name, “blindbutterfly.”

I am currently studying to obtain my degree in social work, so advocacy is a true passion of mine!

I hope to use blindbutterfly as a platform for sharing my own personal experiences – along with those of others – on issues pertaining to everything Transgender.

Some topics I hope to cover are:

promoting visibility, embracing diversity, advocating for freedom and equality, discussing transition processes, as well as, beauty, wellness & self-care.

I am thrilled to share my journey with you, and hope you are open to share your experiences with me!

blindbutterfly is a celebration of all things Transgender, and is open to people of ALL walks of life.  As an all-inclusive site, I hope to embrace different stories and attitudes that are positive and supportive of all Transgender communities.

Transphobia, Homophobia, Negativity, Bigotry, Bullying, Hatred, or Disrespect of ANY kind will not be tolerated.  blindbutterfly is, and always will be a SAFE site for all who wish to celebrate and advocate for ALL beautiful Transgender butterflies!

-great BIG hugs, blindbutterfly
